Passionate about earth observation, climate change, and civic science?
Or simply love a good idea worth sharing?

Then come join us on November 16th, 2017 for another TEDxRheinmain Datanauts. This one is called Decoding Earth because we will present you a line-up of speakers that will share ideas and stories about the importance – and the beauty – of Earth observation, how it can help us in making lives better all over the world and understand the effects of climate change.

And what better place to do this than at the EUMETSAT headquarter in Darmstadt: the Mission Control Center for their satellites and the place where much of the data they provide is made available! To be part of this, be sure to subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to hear about the speakers and know when tickets will become available.

Do you have a proposal for a talk that would fit right in with what we are planning? Drop us a line at – give us a short abstract and tell us why yours is an idea worth sharing, and we’ll be in touch.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx – local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently and self-organized TED event.
